The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released two notifications dated 10 July 2026 inviting online applications for recruitment of 572 Village Accountant (Village Administrative Officer) posts under the Revenue Department. The vacancies include 505 General/RPC cadre posts and 67 Kalyana-Karnataka cadre posts.

- Passed PUC (Pre-University Course) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
- 12th Pass from CBSE, ICSE or any recognized State Board is eligible.
- Eligible NIOS vocational qualification or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Candidates possessing higher qualifications are also eligible.
- Aadhaar Card is mandatory for submitting the online application.

The selected candidates will receive a pay scale of ₹34,100 – ₹67,600 along with allowances admissible under Karnataka Government Rules. The probation period will be 02 years.

- Select the appropriate VAO Recruitment notification (General/RPC or Kalyana-Karnataka).
- Register using the required details.
- Fill in the online application form carefully.
- Select only one district for the applicable cadre.
- Upload your passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
A total of 572 Village Accountant (VAO) posts are available.
Candidates should have passed PUC (12th Pass) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
The pay scale is ₹34,100 – ₹67,600.
Selection will be based on an Offline OMR Written Examination followed by document verification. There is no interview.
