Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Schedule – A Mini Ratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise, has released the notification for engagement of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for its Regional Headquarters, Western Region (RHQ, Mumbai). A total of 36 vacancies (tentative) are available for Apprenticeship training at various airports in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and UT of Diu.

- Educational Qualification: Full-time regular Degree (4-year) / Diploma (3-year) in the relevant discipline from an institution recognized by AICTE / Government of India with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates). Knowledge of AutoCAD is desirable for Civil Engineering posts.
- Passing Year: Candidates who have passed Degree/Diploma on or after 01.04.2022 only are eligible. Final year students awaiting results may also apply (subject to production of certificate at the time of joining).
- Domicile: Candidates must be domicile of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh or UT of Diu and reside nearby the respective airport.
- Age Limit (as on 31.07.2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 26 years. Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years.
- Other Conditions: Candidates who have already completed or are pursuing apprenticeship with the same qualification, or have one year or more job experience after attaining the essential qualification, are not eligible.
- Graduate Apprentice: ₹15,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹12,000 per month
- No other allowances are payable. Training duration is One Year at the allotted airport/establishment. No change in place of training will be permitted.
- Selection based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview / Document Verification through registered e-mail
- Submission of Certificate of Medical Fitness (from Gazetted Government Medical Officer) and Police Verification Certificate at the time of joining
- Important: AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment after completion of apprenticeship training.

Eligible candidates must apply ONLINE ONLY through the NATS / BOAT portal. Applications received through any other mode will not be considered.
➢ Step 1: Register yourself as a Student/Apprentice on the NATS portal – nats.education.gov.in or moenats.aicte-india.org.
➢ Step 2: Complete your profile and get it verified by the respective Regional BOAT.
➢ Step 3: After successful registration and verification, apply against the AAI Western Region advertisement (Establishment No. WMHMCC000058) for the desired trade/discipline.
➢ Step 4: Ensure all details (mailing address, category, discipline, bank details etc.) are correctly filled. No changes will be allowed later.
➢ Step 5: Submit the application before the last date – 30 September 2026.
➢ Step 6: Keep checking your registered e-mail for shortlisting and further instructions.
A total of 36 posts (tentative) of Graduate and Diploma Apprentices are available in various disciplines under Western Region.
The last date for online application through NATS portal is 30 September 2026.
Candidates must be between 18 to 26 years of age as on 31.07.2026. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) is applicable.
Full-time Degree/Diploma in the relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Candidates who passed on or after 01.04.2022 are eligible. Domicile of Maharashtra/Gujarat/Madhya Pradesh/Diu is mandatory.
Selection is based on percentage of marks in the qualifying examination followed by Interview/Document Verification. Medical Fitness and Police Verification certificates are required at the time of joining.
₹15,000 per month for Graduate Apprentices and ₹12,000 per month for Diploma Apprentices (including Government share via BOAT).
Candidates must first register on the NATS/BOAT portal and then apply online against AAI Western Region advertisement. No application fee is required. Last date is 30 September 2026.
